Trust for Nature manages a unique Revolving Fund that enables the Trust to quickly purchase significant native habitats. The Fund is an example of Trust for Nature's innovative approach to conservation that yields real and long-term sustainable conservation outcomes. 

HOW DOES THE FUND WORK?
Trust for Nature purchases high-conservation value properties through the Revolving Fund and and then on-sells them with a Conservation Covenant on the title to a caring new owner. All money generated through the sale of the properties is wholly returned to the Fund to repluish its reserves and enable future purchases. In this way the fund revolves in perpetuity.

WHEN WAS IT ESTABLISHED?
Trust for Nature's Revolving Fund was established in 1989 and has since become a key component to the organisation. The idea for the Fund was conceived and implemented by the Board of Trustees and staff in response to the need to establish a conservation-based market for real estate buyers.

ACHIEVEMENTS TO DATE?
Due to the enormous success of Trust for Nature's Revolving Fund, the Fund is now used as a model being adopted by kindred land trusts in other states across Australia. Trust for Nature's revolving Fund to date has on-sold a total of 41 properties and at value of $3.4million.

All contributions of $2 and over are tax deductible and sincerely appreciated by Trust for Nature. Bequests and major donations that are given for land purchases have ensured the fund is a sustainable and easily managed tool for preserving some of our most precious habitat. Alternatively but equally important, the purchase of a Revolving Fund property will greatly assist Trust for Nature to continue its vital work of protecting Australia's natural heritage before it disppears forever.
