This is home to the Nationally Vulnerable Regent Parrot (Polytelis anthopeplus) and Pink Cockatoo (Cacatua leadbeaterii), and 3 species of Babbler (Grey-Crowned, Chestnut-Crowned, White-Browed). All 3 species of kangaroo (Eastern & Western and Red Kangaroo) frequent the property, as well as many other threatened fauna species.
Total area of 1800 Ha includes wetlands, Red Gum forest, rare chenopod grasslands, woodlands sand hills, Belar Trees (Casuarina pauper) Vulnerable Buloke Trees (Allocasuarina luehmannii), and other rare vegetation. The property also boasts the only location of Wilga (Geijera parviflora) trees in Victoria.
This is a significant indigenous heritage area, with scar trees, middens and burial sites on large uncultivated sand dune.
