Trust for Nature is in an exciting time of renewal and growth, focusing on more and better private land conservation through strategic work across Victoria. Part of this important work is the ongoing management of our portfolio of over 40 reserves, covering 36,000 hectares. These special places, both reserves and covenants, are crucial sanctuaries for nature and provide vital refuges for wildlife as the climate changes. By safeguarding ecosystems, we help protect the homes of our most threatened flora and fauna species.
Following his daughter’s determination to protect nature, Chris has turned his attention to Trust for Nature’s reserves. He was inspired by the conservation impact that could be achieved, such as reintroducing rare orchids, and the knowledge and passion of Trust for Nature’s team members.
The Bridie Butterfield Murray Memorial Fund will directly impact the protection, restoration and stewardship of our conservation reserves.
