Become a Bush Protector today!

Some of the most vital habitats for our state’s threatened species are under threat, and many are on private land. These are places across our state that desperately need to be protected. Places with habitats that are underrepresented in existing national parks and other protected areas. If these places are not protected, the vulnerable native species found in these habitats are at risk. The threat of habitat loss and extinction is looming over their heads.

With competing uses for land, the reality is we are losing woodland, grassland and wetland areas at an alarming rate. This loss of land is limiting the mobility and breeding opportunities of threatened birds and ground dwelling animals; our native grasslands are being lost; and wetlands that were once thriving ecosystems are drying out as a result of water-use and climate change; but together, we can make a difference.

The bush needs your help.

The Bush Protection Program is funded by monthly donations and provides safety, security and stability for Victoria’s most vulnerable creatures by helping to increase the amount of protected land across Victoria. The ongoing support of Bush Protectors ensures that our endangered and threatened species can thrive in stable, secure homes.

Trust for Nature has a unique power in Victoria to protect nature through conservation covenants and with the support of Bush Protectors, can ensure greater patches of habitat are protected for future generations.

For you.

For your family.

For future generations.

For the world.

The wonder of nature, and everything nature has to offer, has been given to us as a gift.

Each one of us is responsible for taking care and looking after the natural wonders of Victoria — from rainforests to deserts, coasts to mountains.

In the face of climate change and continued vegetation loss, Trust for Nature’s role is increasingly important in preserving Victoria’s remaining native habitat.

Only with your help will we be able to maintain and protect these wonders forever.
