Background

The Scholes Student Scholarship is named to honour Dr Alex Scholes. Dr Scholes had a deep appreciation of the Australian landscape and left a bequest to Trust for Nature to enable young people to study the conservation of fauna, flora and habitat in an applied way.

Applications close Friday, October 29th

Up to five scholarships are available this year. Scholarships can be for projects already started or planned to start later this year. They are primarily for Honours and masters projects but we will also consider applications for top-up funding for Ph.Ds where the project is considered to have strategic importance for the Trust’s conservation program on private land in Victoria.

Applications should be sent to:
Dr Doug Robinson, Conservation Science Advisor, dougr@tfn.org.au
