This course is designed to support First Peoples interested in gaining practical skills to work in conservation and land management. It offers accredited training in areas such as cultural fire practices, water management, workplace health and safety, weed control, heritage site protection, applying cultural knowledge, chainsaw operation, plant identification, bush foods cultivation, and threatened species management.
If this sounds like the right opportunity for you or someone you know, please express your interest or share this information with your networks. We’d love to hear from you!
This course is primarily hands-on, with much of the learning taking place in the field. Elders and local experts play a key role in sharing their knowledge and teaching various topics.
