Manager, Governance & Legal
Full -time | Melbourne CBD-based | Flexible work arrangements available
We’re searching for a Manager of Governance and Legal to join our team and strengthen Trust for Nature’s organisational integrity and governance.
In this role, you’ll provide specialist support to strengthen Trust for Nature’s governance, risk management, and compliance practices while delivering discrete generalist legal advice and assisting with important Board and Committee processes. You will play a key role in supporting Trust for Nature’s core Covenant Assurance processes.

The role offers an annual base salary range of $111,343 – $123,032, plus 12 % super. The salary offered will be aligned with the candidate’s level of experience.
This is full- time position, based out of our Melbourne CBD office with work from home and flexible work arrangements available.
The successful candidate will come with;
- 5 + years’ experience in an internal governance role
- Has, or is able to obtain a Victorian Legal Practising Certificate that is not subject to supervised practice requirements
- Strong knowledge of Victorian public sector governance, risk principles, and charity governance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders and negotiate complex issues
- Knowledge and/or exposure in property law and/or contract law is highly desirable
