Ralph Illidge Sanctuary is a stunning 90 ha reserve in south west Victoria on Khirrae Whurrong Country, about half-an-hour from Warrnambool. Bequeathed to Trust for Nature in 1975, the reserve provides a sanctuary for threatened species such as the Powerful Owl, Long-nosed Potoroo and Rufous Bristlebird.
Join dedicated volunteers and Trust for Nature to explore this special place. Guest speakers Kevin Sparrow and Kerry Vickers, who will educate on the flora and fauna within our sanctuary with some spectacular photos. Trust for Nature Regional Conservation Officer Adam Merrick will conduct a guided nature walk of the reserve. Light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
