Amy Auster is a strategic advisor to government, bringing her expertise in finance and economics to help achieve Australia’s energy and net zero transition.
Amy is Managing Director at Scyne Advisory. She has served as CEO at the Infrastructure and Project Financing Agency, Chief Adviser to the Commonwealth Treasury and Deputy Secretary at the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance. Previously, she led the Australian Centre for Financial Studies at Monash University as Executive Director and worked as an economist, strategist and senior executive for ANZ Banking Group during the bank’s expansion into Asia.
Amy is a non-executive director of the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, a member of RMIT’s APEC Study Centre and an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at Monash University. She is an alumna of Northwestern University in Chicago and Columbia University in New York, and the proud mother of three children.
