The Victorian Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) brings together Victoria’s energy, environment, water, agriculture, forestry, resources, climate action, and emergency management functions into a single department to maximise connections between the environment, community, industry and economy.
Trust for Nature works collaboratively with DEECA all over Victoria to develop and deliver exciting biodiversity initiatives, and regularly contributes to DEECA’s work on environmental policy in Victoria. Together with DEECA, we are committed to the delivery of the Victorian Government’s biodiversity plan, Protecting Victoria’s Environment – Biodiversity 2037.
