Request for Tender – Provision of IT Managed Services and Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) Services
Trust for Nature (TfN) was established in 1972 through the Victiorian Conservation Act and is a Victorian not for profit organisation, with approximately 70–80 employees across regional and CBD locations. As we grow and adapt to a changing environmental and technological landscape, we seek a professional IT partner to manage our technology environment and provide strategic IT leadership through vCIO services.
This tender invites proposals from experienced service providers who can deliver comprehensive IT Managed Services alongside high-level vCIO advisory. The selected partner will ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with our mission and values.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Flexible, scalable service model offering value for money, with clear SLAs, proactive support, and transparent reporting.
- Proven experience delivering IT Managed Services and strategic vCIO consulting to not-for-profit or similar organisations.
- Demonstrated capability in managing Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and hybrid work environments.
- Ability to provide strategic IT leadership, including IT planning, risk management, budgeting, and board-level engagement.
- Strong cybersecurity practices aligned with ACSC Essential Eight and ISO 27001, including threat monitoring, compliance, and staff training.

Supplier Complaint Procedure
A good place to start is to speak to the person you have been dealing with about your concerns. Call us on 1800 99 99 33 and ask to speak to the relevant staff member.If you feel your concern is not resolved, you may lodge a complaint by emailing us at complaints@tfn.org.au, or writing to us at Level 5, 379 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.
Trust for Nature continually reviews and improves its processes to ensure we provide a high quality service. We value feedback and welcome compliments, suggestions and complaints about your experience dealing with us. Trust for Nature takes complaints about its service seriously. We acknowledge your right to raise a complaint and to receive an appropriate response to your concern. You can read more about how we manage complaints in our Public Complaints Policy.
We will contact you promptly, and within 10 business days at latest, to discuss your concerns. If the matter cannot be resolved immediately, we will send you an acknowledgement letter and commence an investigation.
Once we have considered your concerns, we will advise you of the outcome of our investigation. If we agree that your complaint was justified, we will rectify the problem and take steps to prevent it from occurring again.
We aim to advise you of the outcome of an investigation within 20 business days of sending you the acknowledgement letter. If for any reason we are not able to conclude our investigation with this timeframe, we will send you a progress letter explaining why we need more time.
If you are not satisfied with our response to your complaint, you may take your complaint to external agencies including the Victorian Ombudsman:
