The vegetation comprises of Red Ironbark, Red Stringybark, Grey Box and Yellow Box. The understorey shrub layer consists of Drooping Cassinia, Xanthorrhoea australis, Mallee Wattle, Golden Wattle, Lightwood and Ploughshare Wattle.

A number of wildflowers can be noted on site including Bulbine Lily, Common Early Nancy, Tall Sundew, Bluebell, Sun Orchid, Tiny Star and Common Onion-Orchid.
Powerful Owls have been recorded within the local area and the endangered Swift Parrot has been observed.
