‭Nationally threatened species have been recorded by‬ Trust for Nature staff including Swamp Everlasting‬‭‬ and Australasian Bittern‬‭‬. Regionally significant Slender‬ Bitter-cress‬‭‬‭ has also been‬ recorded on site.‬

The site includes an area of up to 2 ha, located within the Modified Use Tier that can be used for domestic use, subject to covenant conditions and STCA, as well as an area of 4.33 not covered by the conservation covenant.
