Trust for Nature currently owns more than 40 conservation properties across Victoria, including the state’s biggest private conservation property, Neds Corner Station. We’ve acquired these properties thanks to the generosity of our supporters who recognised the importance of conserving native flora and fauna.
Our supporters help us protect key properties by gifting land, leaving a bequest in their will, and community fundraising. Some of our reserves are maintained through the generosity, hard work and invaluable local knowledge of volunteer Committees of Management, who meet regularly to conduct on-ground works and hold community events.
The reserves are managed for conservation to protect our wonderful plants and animals, if you visit a reserve that is open to the public please leave pets at home.
All Trust for Nature reserves are closed on days of Total Fire Ban, and days of extreme or catastrophic fire danger.
